1. Scruffy Dog.

I came across these gorgeous shoes on a little girl at the Bondi Beach playground one day last year, I asked her mum where they were from and went and got Sophie a pair the very next week! I love that they are all made locally too. I get mine from My Messy Room in Summer Hill.

2. Olives friend Pop.

Wishlist Wednesday

I really have to stop doing this post because it makes me want to buy more things and I am really trying not to buy more things. It's bad for the planet and it's really bad for my bank balance!

But, if I happen to find a few coins down the back of the couch this week I will promptly take myself to..

1. Gorman
I have always loved this Australian designer, and her new season range is one of the best so far.. (not that I can afford anything in the store!)
gorman

They are also selling these adorable limited edition Gorman bicycles in store.. I would love to be riding around town on one of these..

2. Trilogy
I have used Trilogy products for a few years now and I love them. Not only are they all natural, environmentally friendly and ethically produced they smell divine and work wonders..
trilogy
Their pure rose hip oil is amazing. If you have never tried rose hip oil on your skin I highly recommend it.

3. Nikki Gabriel
Nikki Gabriel is a knitwear and textile designer, but she is more like a knitwear artist.
Nikki Gabriel

She recently developed her own bespoke yarn, collaborating with small farming communities and spinning mills in Australia to produce some beautiful wool and alpaca.
Nikki Gabriel

She also has these nifty little 'construction kits' that include patterns and wool..
Kit

Apparently its even suitable for beginners.. lucky me!

Wishlist Wednesday

Its my Wednesday wishlist.. but with a twist!

Last night Tom and I went and saw Ayaan Hirsi Ali talk at the Sydney Opera House. I have to admit that I did not know alot about her before we went and neither of us had read her books. Tom just thought it would be a really interesting talk.

So today I thought that I would show a little gratitude for the things I already have, rather than a list of things I want to buy (but don't actually need).

So here is my wishlist for this week..

1. More time doing things like this..
At the park

Swing

With this little person..
My little (big) girl

Not actually more time to do things like this. But more time to be completely immersed in things like this. I am always thinking of what needs to be done, making lists in my head.. whats for dinner? What do we have to do tomorrow? I want to spent more time just enjoying the moment with my little girl.. Just to stop and play and be in her world for a while!

2. More delicious food and dinner parties with friends..
dinner-party
(Although our dinner parties never look like this!)

3. More hours spent lost in a fabric store..
fabrics
(Do I need to say anymore?)

4. More date nights with my husband..
wedding day3
Where I realise that there is still this whole, exciting world that exists outside of our home. Where interesting people are doing amazing things. Where there is great live music and a whole world that still exists outside of your laundry basket it makes you feel pretty good! Happy Wednesday everyone!

Wishlist Wednesday

Well, why not make it a weekly ritual.. Here are a list of the things that I am loving this week..

1. Linen, Wool, Cotton

linen

This cute little book has caught my eye a few times. I believe it was translated from Japanese into English.. Definitely on my wish-list!

2. Murchison-Hume

I came across these cleaning products last year and bought some. The bottles have only just run out! Not only are they all made with natural ingredients (no nasty chemicals!) and are made in Australia by a lovely family run business, they also look good! And hey, if I'm going to spend a large proportion of my time cleaning the house I may as well do it in style right?

3. Frankie magazine

frankie

Oh I do love Frankie! I wish it came out every month so I wouldn't have to wait so long between issues. Now, I have a little confession.. I actually own every single issue of Frankie since the magazine started! That's a whole lot of space on my bookshelf taken up with old magazines! But I cant stop, so I would love a subscription... (hint, hint, Tom..)

I think I might have to wait till I'm a little more accomplished with the sewing machine though!

3. Vintage Bicycle
My bike got stolen a few years ago and I have been meaning to replace it ever since.

Sophie loves going to Centennial Park and hiring bikes for the day. She often wakes up and says "Mummy, can we go to cen-ten-noll park and I can sit on the back of daddy's bike and we can ride round and round?" Yes!
