When I learnt how to hook last year I didn't pick up my sticks for months...have only just recently gotten back into knitting and have been reminded of just how much I love it :)<br />xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6425299903051226357.post-68678756473454469362012-05-04T05:28:03.811+08:002012-05-04T05:28:03.811+08:00My husband and I are thinking of having a baby in ...My husband and I are thinking of having a baby in the next 12-18 months, not soon, but it's on the radar more than ever before. At the moment all I can think about is 'oh my god, I always set the mark of when I would be able to competently knit and crochet by when we would have a baby!' haha So, I am going to get my skates on. Crocheting, getting there but am finding it tricky to do 'in the round' things like granny squares and beanies (and these are meant to be easy?!) I find it easiest to just do single crochet blocks, or baby blankets like the striped one you did. Knitting however is another mountain to climb...I have a bit of time on my hands this year too as we are traveling around Australia - so this is the year!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17612596117585908700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6425299903051226357.post-17768879645337860322012-05-03T21:37:38.919+08:002012-05-03T21:37:38.919+08:00Ah, I know the grass is always greener etc., but i...Ah, I know the grass is always greener etc., but i am a wee bit jealous. wish I had some knitting time this week! Still, at least it's finally getting cool enough to at least think about wearing wool in Perth!flora bloomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10145683535627564180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6425299903051226357.post-76107957112812857142012-05-03T19:21:01.091+08:002012-05-03T19:21:01.091+08:00Nothing like hand-knitted or crocheted pieces from...Nothing like hand-knitted or crocheted pieces from soft baby wool for bubs. I have a few pieces for Sophie here, one of which was a cardigan of mine when I was a baby. Unfortunately, I haven't made any myself... it's on my list of 'must dos one day' xAmandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14697932926715802541noreply@blogger.com
